Easter Break Part 2 - Newcastle

So you are probably wondering why I came to Newcastle/where is Newcastle/what is in Newcastle... well long story short, a concert, which Basshunter one of my favorite all time DJs and artist was performing at (He yet has to do a concert in the US). However, more about this concert in the next post.

So this being my first time in the United Kingdom, things seemed a bit weird at first in this small city, where they seem to do just about anything backwards, for instance, you drive on the right side inside your car instead of the left and you drive on the left side of the road. They even have signs on the floor for pedestrians that say Look Right/Look Left just in case you forget and might get run over.... In addition, the Metro is run on an Honors system, so you don't really have to pay to get on the Metro its up to you to buy your ticket. However, beware, because if you get stopped and asked for your ticket and don't have one, you get fined.

Well in this city, I saw it all, expensive cars, several bridges, specifically the Millenium Bridge, and the amazing Music Center. I even saw the Futbol Stadium for Newcastle United, which if you have not seen the movie "Goal," you should. I had some good food, and over all a great time. Much walking was involved. As well as, trying to understand the UK English which has a very heavy accent. It was really weird hearing this English spoken; it felt like I was in a movie or something. To top it all off however, the concert and Basshunter, was the highlight of the trip.
